The Fake Name Generator is currently being attacked by a botnet. This is slowing down our pages considerably. It appears that they are trying to generate a large number of names using our homepage instead of using the free bulk order page.

We’ve improved our API and are now offering it to everyone, even those who weren’t approved for an API key in the past.

We’ve updated the Fake Name Generator to provide the person’s weight in pounds and kilograms, and height in feet/inches and centimeters. Both the weight and height are tied to the person’s age, and are roughly based on US CDC data. For example, a 5 year old will have a lower weight than a 20 year old.
